Background

Gregory Merlo is a Health Outcomes Analyst at Health Technology Analysts (HTanalysts) and the Health Services Assessment Collaboration (HSAC). Greg has experience conducting systematic reviews, evaluating clinical trials, preparing health technology assessments, and analysing pharmaceutical utilisation rates.

Gregory completed a Bachelor of Science, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Health Economics. Gregory worked as a research assistant for the Queensland Evaluation Group, where he analysed the utilisation rates of psychotropic medicines and assisted in the PBAC evaluation process. He has also worked as a laboratory assistant (microbiology) and as a pharmacy assistant.
 

Research Interests

Gregory’s current research interests include the safety, efficacy, and utilisation of psychotropic medicines. He is also interested in the pharmaceutical reimbursement process.
