Background

Dr Kristina Coleman is a Health Outcomes Manager at Health Technology Analysts (HTanalysts) and a senior member of the Health Services Assessment Collaboration (HSAC).   Dr Coleman has been employed in the field of health technology assessment since 2000.  In this time, Dr Coleman has gained extensive experience in conducting large systematic reviews, meta-analyses and health technology assessment reports.  Since graduation, Dr Coleman has worked in both the academic and private sectors, including time at the University of Sydney as an evaluator for the Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC), Australia.

Prior to entering the field of health outcomes, Dr Coleman completed a PhD in neuroscience and has published in a number of peer-reviewed journals and presented her research at meetings of the Australian Neuroscience Society. 

Dr Coleman is currently a member of the Australian Association for Regulatory and Clinical Scientists (ARCS) and has presented her work at various meetings including Health Technology Assessment International (HTAi) and the Indirect Comparisons in Health Assessments Workshop, Australian Pharmaceutical Biostatistics Group (APBG) and Statistical Society of Australia Inc. (SSAI).
 

Research Interests

Dr Coleman’s research interests include methods of systematic review and meta-analysis and in particular how Bayesian analysis can be utilised in meta-analysis.
 

Graduate Courses

Dr Coleman is a tutor on the Pharmaceutical Medicine and Drug Development post-graduate course delivered by the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia.
